Abstract: This accessible talk is aimed at anyone who has an interest in number games and basic graph theory. Magic squares are introduced and after some basic examples a technique is shown whereby large magic squares can be generated with elegance and ease. After this start the talk will then shift to domino sets showing a possible reason as to why double-six and double-twelve sets are typically used. The final trot will be about knight's tours and show a possible solution to a knight's tour that is a magic square. It is hoped that the talk will stimulate the audience to share their tricks and tips and for some of the ideas to be taken away and developed at leisure.
